Gale Damon

Iris Gale Damon age 65 of Ola died Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was born August 18, 1952 at Alamogordo, New Mexico to Gene Levon Benedict and Dorothy Mae Jones Benedict. She retired as Postmaster from the Gravelly Post Office and was a member of the Ola Assembly of God Church. She loved to garden, take photos and most of all she loved her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her father, Levon Benedict.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Bill Damon of Ola; mother, Dorothy Benedict of Ola; five children, William and Kelly Damon of Ola, Amber Kay and Ray Whitman of Paris, Texas, John Leslie Damon of Arizona, Brock Damon of Ola, Caleb Levon Damon of Ola; one sister, Ronda and Glen Littrell of Eureka Springs; six grandchildren, Matt and Clay Damon, Trisha, Amie and Courtney Whitman, Bailey Damon and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
