Irvin Elton Raney, age 93 of Ola, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Brookridge Cove in Morrilton. He was born May 6, 1929 in Rose Creek, Arkansas to the late Earnest Elmer Raney and Cordie Jones Raney. He was a United States Army Veteran and he attended the Ola Assembly of God Church. Irvin loved to hunt, fish and go to church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Raney and Cordie Jones Raney; son, David Raney; brothers, Glen Raney, Harold Raney, Jeff Raney and sisters, Mae Campbell and Maxine Gist.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Mae Gist Raney of Ola; two children, Jan Raney of Russellville, Mark Raney (Tamara) of Ola; two sisters, Charlene Scoles of Centerville, Imogene West (Joe) of London; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 4:00P.M. to 6:00P.M. at the Ola Assembly of God Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, 2:00P.M. at the Ola Assembly of God Church with Rev. Norman Chenowith officiating. Burial will be private in Petillo Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Gist, Evert Gist, Noah Robinson, Donnie Coffman and Carlis Boothe.
