JJ Willcox, age 89 of Dardanelle passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was born October 9, 1932 in Marshall, Arkansas to J.P. Willcox and Kate Whillock-Willcox. He was a member of the Dardanelle Methodist Church. He was also a former member of the Yell County Fair Board, Yell County Special Service Center Board, FSA Committee, and Yell County Cattleman's Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as sisters Ruth Goyne, Ethel Riggin, and Bonnie Pool. Survivors include a host of nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 21, 2022 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Jim Benfer officiating. Visitation will be prior to service from 1:00-2:00 PM. Burial will be at Ard Cemetery in Dardanelle.
