Jacqueline "Jackie" Evelyn Palmer age 86 of Dardanelle passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at Stella Manor in Russellville. She was born June 5, 1933 at Columbus, Georgia to the late W.S. "Jack" Bryant Jr and Evelyn Ware. She was a member of the Dardanelle First Baptist Church and was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia where she was a home maker to her husband and three children. She remarried in 1965 to Charles "Chuck" Palmer and was an Army wife. This took her to places such as Utah, Alaska, New Mexico, Germany and Oklahoma where they retired. Two more children were born in Alaska. She was a loving and very devoted mother and Nanu. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Stewart Bryant.

Survivors include her children, Cathy Canitz of Dardanelle, Jeannie Barnett of Dardanelle, Chuck Palmer (Debi) of Lavonia, Georgia, Todd Palmer (Dawn) of Lavonia, Georgia, Judi Palmer of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jennifer Harris (John) of Russellville, Jeremy Canitz (Amber) of Conway, CW Palmer (Jessica) of Jefferson, Georgia, Catherine Palmer of Boston, Massachusetts, Taylor Pemberton (Jon) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Dardanelle First Baptist Church with Carl Fair officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the church prior to the service.
