Jake Robert Pickens age 88 of Gravelly passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Waldron Nursing Home.

Jake was born July 22, 1933 in Bluffton, Arkansas to the late Lonnie Dean & Hattie Mae Carter Pickens. He was a member of the Nola Church of Christ and a cattle farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patsy Pickens; brothers, Johnny, R.C. Pickens, Bill Pickens, and Jerry Pickens; sister, Retha Ann Rich, Louise McCuen and Betty Jane Freeman.

Survivors include his son, James "Jamie" Robert Pickens of Gravelly; brothers, Joe & Pat Pickens of Harvey and Jim & Cheryl Pickens of Danville; sister-in-law, Kathy Pickens; granddaughter, Lisa Marie Pickens.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 6, 2021 at Parks Cemetery officiated by Marcus Richmond.
