James Michael Barnett age 46 of Danville, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at his home. He was born April 21, 1978 in Houston, Texas to Michael Eugene Barnett and Elva Burnett Barnett. James loved collecting knives, guns, joking and loved riding around. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Luna Mae Barnett and his uncle, Charlie Burnett.

Survivors include his parents, Michael Barnett and Elva Barnett; two children, Matthew Barnett, Michael Barnett; stepdaughter, Renee Huggins; one sister, Darlena Adney (Walter); three nieces, Kassie Renfro (Clint), Mayle Thacker (Cameron), Madyson Adney; one nephew, Zachary Norwood (Rae Ann); great nieces and nephews, Emma, Elijah, Evan, Easton, Zachary, Zaiden, Zane, Ryder, Rayner and numerous family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Mt. George Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Walter Adney, Michael Barnett, Clint Renfro, Matthew Barnett, Zachary Norwood and Cameron Thacker.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Standridge and Russell Standridge.
