James Coleman Long age 87, of Casa, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Russellville.

James was born May 30, 1935 in Rose Creek, Arkansas to Rosco C. and Bessie May Hamilton Long. He retired from AT&T after 30 years of service and enjoyed many years of travel with his wife, Georgia. James was a lifelong resident of the community of Casa, where he was a member of the masonic lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Georgia Long; brother, Cecil Long; sisters, Dorothy Hance and Ruby Hubbard.

Survivors include his son, Raliegh & Tamara Long of Casa; brother, Wendel Long of Aplin; grandchildren, Rusty Long (Sam) of Houston, TX.; Taylor Trigleth (Darien) of Conway; Shelby Oliver (Ben): Aidan Dunn (Destine); great-grandchildren, James W. and James T. Long, Phoenix and Rowan Trigleth, and Henry Oliver; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Memorial service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Dardanelle Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Tanner officiating.
