James Loyd Davis age 78 of Dardanelle died Friday, February 24, 2017 at his home. He was born October 18, 1938 on Crow Mountain to Clois L. and Lena Price Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, David Wayne Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Valerie Tilley Davis of Dardanelle; one son, Kenny Davis and wife Theresa of Mena; one daughter, Becky Taylor and husband Bill of Hot Springs; one brother, R.A. Davis of Russellville; two sisters, Dana Stroud of Electra, Texas, Dora McGee of Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Tuesday, February, 28, 2017 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be private in Ringer Cemetery.
