James Alva Elliott, SR, age 80 of Dover, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at his home. He was born May 28, 1944 in Rolla, Missouri to the late Alva Elbert Elliott and Susie Jane Stogsdill Elliott. He loved picking the guitar, fishing and hanging out with friends. James was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Johnny Elliott, Mike (Mikey) Elliott and a sister, Judy Headrick.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Lea Elliott; two children, Jamie Elliott (Debbie), Sheila Henson (Jimmy); one sister, Brenda Elliott; grandchildren, James Henson (Heather), Waylon (Hanna), Olivia Elliott, Cole Elliott (Kaylee) and great grandchildren, Niki, Colton, Dean, Preston, Gunner, Astrid, Tucker and Kooper.
