James Alden Farmer, age 79 of Plainview, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born November 20, 1942 in Casagrande, Arizona to the late Clark Farmer and Daisy Brooks Davidson Farmer. He was a 33 ^rd Degree Mason, a member of the Plainview First Baptist Church and he loved to hunt. James was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Leslie Farmer; one son, Paul Farmer; two sisters, Patricia Hacker, Rose Hester and a stepson, Charles Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Farmer; one son, Joseph Farmer; one brother, William Lewis Farmer; one sister, Shirley Dunn and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Dardanelle Assembly of God Church.
