James Roy Gates age 74 of Belleville died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born September 28, 1938 in Mt. Magazine, AR to the late John & Claire Roberts Gates. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Louise Gates; brothers Jay & Thomas Gates; sister Anna Sue Gates. Survivors include sons Clayton, Jeff and Travis Gates all of Belleville; sisters Gladys Rosenbalm of Michigan; Marynell Harris of Marianna; Kathy Miller of Russellville; Melba Palmertree of Danville; brothers George Gates of Danville and Robert Gates of Dardanelle; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
