James "Jim" C. Johnson age 82 of Danville passed away Thursday July 5, 2012 at his home. He was born September 15, 1929 in Bauxite, AR. to the late Thomas & Maude James Johnson. He was a WWII & Korea Air Force Veteran, a member of the Danville United Methodist Church, 32 Degree Mason and a Danville Masonic Lodge # 41. Preceded in death by his first wife Betty Jean Roberdes Johnson; granddaughter Cassidy Johnson; great-grandchildren Cynthia Payne; brothers Virgil, Dock, Ernest, Lilburn, Wesley Johnson; sisters Pauline Borders, Lorene White, Ora Faye Bentsen and Bertha Parson. Survivors include his wife Lucille Moody Johnson; daughters, Brenda & John Payne of Clarksville; Gloria & John McDonald of Fresno, CA; son, Jerry C. & Kathleene Johnson of Houston, TX; grandchildren Jamie & Joey Payne of Rogers, Jacob Coleman of Georgia, A.J. McDonald of Fresno, CA.,Sylvia & Stephanie Blowers of Arizona and Brandi Johnson of AR., great-grandchildren, Maegan Payne, Braden Payne, Braxton Payne and Ethan Payne all of Clarksville; step-children Lou & Larry Ennis of Bluffton; Ron & Tanya Moody of Russellville; Charles & Debbie Moody of Dardanelle; 6 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren; sister Ola Mae Harrell of No. Little Rock. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday July 7, at the Danville United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Sullilnger officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at funeral home. Pallbearers include Jamie Payne, Joey Payne, David Damon, David Garner, Joe Monroe and Larry Garner.
