On Monday March 27, 2023, James Andy Land passed away at the age of 79 years, with family by his side. James was born in Russellville AR, and graduated Dardanelle High School in 1961. He attended Ard Church of Christ and worked as a water well driller for many years before becoming a Rural Letter Carrier for 29 years with the Dardanelle Post Office, retiring in 2000.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Annette Couch Land of Dardanelle; children James Andy Land Jr and wife Suzanne, Mike Land and wife Tracy, Beth George and husband David; 8 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; Joshua Land and son Kenzer, Chasni Bradshaw and sons Chandler and Creed, James Andy "Andrew" Land III, wife Tori and children Olivia and James Andy "Jay" Land IV, Brian George, wife Morgan and son Lincoln, Dalton George and son Noah, Adam Land and wife Summer, Brittney George, Bailey George and daughter Elaina; sister Ann Selig, brother Bill Land and wife Diann, aunt Nora Land as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Alice Land and Andy and Nettie Gray; parents Dalton and Aura Lee Land; sister and brother in law Linda and Tommy Crow, brother in law Jim Selig.

Of the many titles he wore in his life time, Husband, Dad and Pepaw were his most prized.

James was in most every way a family man and his family meant everything to him. He was loved so much and will be missed.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday March 30, at the Dardanelle Church of Christ. All are welcome to attend.
