James Clark Lawrence, Jr., age 85 of Dardanelle, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born December 12, 1937 in Elmira, New York to the late James Clark Lawrence, Sr. and Geraldine Mae Ives Lawrence. He volunteered at Area Agency on Aging in his retirement and was also a limo, taxi and bus driver. He loved to magnet fish, tell jokes and try his hand at art. He never met a stranger; he was always there with a kind word and loved sharing his positive and optimistic outlook. He was a four-year veteran of the United States Air Force and Army National Guard. James was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Patricia Lawrence.

Survivors include his children, Gina Wilkins (Marty), David Lawrence (Tara), Michael Lawrence (Sarah); brother, Roger Lawrence (Linda); sister, Judy Magnussen: grandchildren, Garrett Wilkins (Brooke), Dustin Wilkins, Graycee Gaines (Tanner), Brooklyn Heiser (Chris), Kaitlyn Rhine (Landon), Cory Lawrence, Devin Lawrence, Jessica Pechacek (Corey), Alyssa Lawrence, Nathan Lawrence, Cloe Fowler (Chance), Carson Keim (Alora) and ten great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Holman Cemetery in Lamar.
