James Lemuel Pitts age 86 of Ola passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home.

He was born July 15, 1931 in Ola, Arkansas to the late Jim and Leslie Hope Pitts. He was a member of the Ola First Baptist Church and was retired from Deltic Farm Timber.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Anna Pearl Pitts; brothers, Bobby Joe Pitts and Alfred Pitts; sisters, Jessie Vann, Eva John Pifer and Jenice Bryant.

Survivors include his children, Jimmy Wayne Pitts, Beverly Ann Christensen, and Sandra Kay Pitts all of Ola; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry Pitts, and Lewis Pitts; sisters, Thelma Butler, Dorothy Wong, Betty Clay and Ruth Clay.

Graveside service will be Monday, April 30, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Sandlin Cemetery, Ola. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
