Obituary

James Looper James Roy Looper age 69 of Belleville died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at his home. He was born September 21, 1942 at Dardanelle to the late James Paul and Joyce Lucille Waid Looper. He was a founding member of the Faith Church in Dardanelle, former member of the Arkansas Cattleman's Association, and a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Peter Hatfield. Survivors include his wife, Angie Looper of Dardanelle; one daughter, Becky McVay and husband Cary of Russellville; five stepchildren, Michael Howard, Dwayne Howard, Ginger Besaneom, Kathy Garland and John Garland all of Northwest Arkansas; one sister, Paula Looper Ronaghi and husband Tavakol of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Tori, Olivia and Gabriel Looper McVay all of Russellville; one aunt, Lorraine Banks of Mississippi, formerly of Fort Smith; nephew, Andrew Hatfield of Conway; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30P.M., Friday, June 22, 2012 at Faith Church in Dardanelle with Bob Dowling and Eddie Shaffer officiating. Burial will be in Chickalah Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Jennings Gray, Josh Hamilton, Hoyt Crow, John Parker, Howard Ringer, Gaylon Rounsaville. Honorary Pallbearers: Bo Garner, Bud Rector, Woody Hamilton, Rodney Choate. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Gideon Bibles, P.O. Box 833, Danville, Arkansas 72833.
