James Wayne Mahan age 79 of Russellville died Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born May 15, 1937 at Pope County to the late John and Cena Marie Kendrick Mahan. He loved God and his family and he loved to fish and making things with his hands. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Mahan of Russellville; children, Kimerely Foster, Tamara Gooden both of Russellville, Brian Mahan of Dardanelle, Tony Mahan of Seattle, Johnny Mahan of Texas; one brother, John Mahan of Arizona; one sister, Delphia (Dolly) Schultz of Russellville; grandchildren, Christian Gardner, Jourdan Foster, Emily Gardner, Justin Clark, Dylan Reynolds, Daylee Kendall, Abbey Foster.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, July 29, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Friday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will be private in Pisgah Cemetery.
