James Edward May age 79 of Russellville died Thursday, July 18, 2019 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born October 23, 1939 at Dardanelle, Arkansas to the late Elbert "Jack" and Lorene Milligan May. He treasured his many friends and never met a stranger. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved camping, fishing, hunting and telling stories. He was a United States Navy Veteran and member of the Atkins Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carolyn Tester and one brother, Billy Paul May.

Survivors include his wife, Judy May; three children, Kevin May, Lynnette Hill and husband Jerry, Rhonda May; five grandchildren, Ayla Whitehead, Keya Somera, Britney Hoover, Zackeriah Hill, Sixta Hill, four great grandchildren and many more family and friends.

A Celebration of Life, with hopefully many wonderful stories will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, July 22, 2019 at the London First Baptist Church, 17 Southern Baptist Road, London, Arkansas 72847.
