James Moudy

James Author Moudy age 79 of Harkeys Valley died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Hospice Home at Legacy Village in Bentonville. He was born March 26, 1932 at New Blaine to the late Raymond Hobert and Bertha Leila Brock Moudy. He was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Shirley Anne Moudy and a brother, Alfred Moudy.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Moudy and wife Debbie of Harkeys Valley, Danny Moudy and wife Brenda of Russellville; two daughters, Lisa Gillihan and husband Malcolm of Bentonville; Patti Christy of Bentonville, AR; two sisters, Anna Talley and husband Louie of Harkeys Valley, Jean Murdoch and husband Leighton of Tulsa, OK; three brothers, Glen Moudy and wife Brenda of Dardanelle, Roy Moudy and wife Linda of Slo Fork, Danny Ray Moudy and wife Pam of Harkeys Valley; six grandchildren, Sean Moudy of Colorado, Misty Dickson of Fort Smith, Deric Stubbs of Fayetteville, Brook Scott of Cypress, TX, Kristin Snyder of Little Rock, Ashton Rail of Bentonville; five great grandchildren, Ellijah Moudy, Ryen Dickson, Londan Dickson, Blakeley Dickson, Briley Scott and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00P.M., Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Dardanelle Church of Christ. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. in the chapel.

Pallbearers: Sean Moudy, Deric Stubbs, Thomas Dickson, Thomas Scott, Harrison Snyder, Bucky Talley.
