James Odell Nelms, 56 of Waveland, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Arkansas River Valley Hospice in Russellville.

He was born August 14, 1959 in Danville, Arkansas to the late James O. & Emma Jo James Nelms. He was a member of the WYC Church of Christ. Jamie was a lifetime resident of Waveland, AR. He graduated from Havana High School in 1977. He was a very kind person who had many friends in the community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odell & Emma Jo Nelms.

Survivors include numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 16, 2015 at Shott Cemetery with Bro. John McCourt officiating.
