James Edward Poindexter age 77 of Belleville, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at his home.

James was born August 4, 1944 in Belleville, Arkansas to the late Noble & Ida Barclay Poindexter. He was retired from Dow Chemical.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Barry Poindexter; sister, Judy Dimitt; niece, Jane Powell and nephew, Mike Dimitt.

Survivors include his daughter, Christy & Rick Lentine and grandsons, Kurt and Nathan Lentine; niece, Susie & Billy Molash and great nieces Krisina Jones and K.D. Molash and special friend, Debbie Rogers.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
