James Ray James Thomas Ray age 84 of Delaware died Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. He was born May 16, 1930 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Whitney and Bessie Kinnaird Ray. He was a member and an Elder at the Dardanelle Church of Christ. He retired from Michcon Natural Gas Company in 1986 after 33 years of service. He loved to play golf and go fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Bobby Ray of Delaware; two sons, Howard Ray and wife Leah of Florida, Mark Ray of Howell, Michigan; two daughters, Frances Bone and husband Russ of Taylor, Michigan, Shelly Bone and husband Randall of Canton, Michigan; two brothers, Frank Ray and wife Joyce of Delaware, David Ray and wife Debbie of Arizona; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will held Wednesday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Inc. in Flat Rock Michigan on Saturday, June 21, 2014.
