James Arch "Jim" Robinson age 81 of Birta passed away Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Mitchell's Nursing Home.

He was born April 3, 1935 in Birta, Arkansas to the late John Arch & Inez Oma Hambright Robinson. Jim was a plumbing inspector for the State of Arkansas. He was a member of the Plumber Steamfitters Local Union 155. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Marie Robinson; parents; brothers, John Paul, Norman, and Joe T. Robinson.

Survivors include his sons & daughters-in-law, Robin & Carolyn Robinson of Birta; Randy Robinson of Oklahoma; Joe & Tina Robinson of Birta; grandchildren, J.T. Robinson; Andy Robinson; Madison Robinson; brother, Fay Robinson of Little Rock.

Funeral service will be 10 am Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rick Kimzey officiating. Burial will be at Birta Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, January 4 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Mike Robinson, Wyatt Robinson, Toby Robinson, Steven Robinson, J.T. Robinson and Andy Robinson.
