James Arthur Strickland age 76 of Harvey, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 at his home.

He was born August 22, 1944, in Texas. He was an Air Force veteran and a Minister.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-son, Edward Brothers; and step-grandson, Thomas Lee Strong.

Survivors include his wife Alice Brothers Friend Strickland; step-son Floyd (Jennifer) Brothers of Birta; daughter-in-law, Beverly Brothers, of Dardanelle; step-grandchildren, Chandra (Johnathan) Smith; Chantal (Steven) Strong; Mikaela Brothers; 8 step-great-grandchildren; and loved ones, LeRoy Friend of Mena; Barbara Sue Friend of Scranton.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Nola Church of Christ with Mr. Tony Maine officiating. Burial will be at Parks Cemetery.
