James William West age 70 of Ola died Thursday, November 28, 2018 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born July 18, 1948 at Danville to the late John Lewis West Sr. and Mildred Blankenship West. James was a hardworking man. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Lewis West Jr. and one sister, Kay Underwood.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Willis West of Ola; one son, William Ray West and wife Barbara of London; two stepchildren, Charles W. Holiman Jr. and wife Lisa, Gregory Lynn Holiman and wife Amber; one brother-in-law, Bobby Underwood; sister-in-law, Janie West; in-laws, Bonnie andJim Wimberly, Betty and Don Mashburn, Jimmy and Shirley Willis, Judy Jordan, Danny Willis, Dick and Pam Willis; one sister; one brother and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00P.m., Friday, November 30, 2018 at Sandlin Cemetery in Ola. Visitation will be held Friday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the cemetery prior to the service.
