James Woods Sr.

James DeQuangGuyne Woods Sr age 40 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born November 21, 1976 at Little Rock to Waymon Edward and Linda Faye Tucker Woods. He was a member of the Dardanelle Unity Baptist Church and was a 1994 graduate of Dardanelle High School. James loved sports, especially getting to watch his son play football. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Harrison and Verzener Woods and Clem Tucker Jr.

Survivors include his parents, Waymon and Linda Woods of Magnolia; grandparent, Maggie Tucker Parks of Dardanelle; two children, James D. Woods Jr of Arkadelphia, Arianna Thompson of Dardanelle; one sister, Chasity Woods of Jonesboro; one brother, Waymon Woods Jr of Dardanelle; three nieces and one nephew; seventeen aunts and uncles; twelve great aunts and uncles and many cousins and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Kenneth Kellybrew officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, 4:00P.M. to 5:00P.M. at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Andre Webster, Corey Kellybrew, Brandon Tallent, Bobby Chaten Jr., Roderic Chaten Sr. and C.J. Chaten Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the 1994 Graduating Class of Dardanelle High School.
