James Yandell age 79 of Briggsville passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock.

He was born June 5, 1938 in Harvey, Arkansas to the late Arvil James & Pearlie Lillian Qualls Yandell. He was a retired logger. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Grady Joe Yandell.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years Shirley Yandell; daughter & son-in-law, Paula & Tito Mendoza of Danville; son & daughter-in-law, James & Tammy Yandell of Wing; son, J.L. Dobber Yandell of wing; daughter & son-in-law, Shelia & Bryan Hall of Danville; sisters, Dorthy Kelly of Booneville; Jetty Starr of Bonneville; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews and a host of family and friends.
