Ms. Jane Witherell of Russellville, age 75, of Russellville, passed away on March 25, 2023. She was born January 9, 1948 in Elkader, IA to the late Richard and Shirley Elaine Gordon Witherell. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, the late Arthur Gordon Witherell of Rockville, IN.

She is survived by brothers, Robert Witherell (Sharon) of Nixa, MO and Richard Witherell of Palm Desert, CA; aunt, Mary Kuhse; cousins, Lee Kuhse (Bobbie Sue), and Shawn Turner (Dr. Matt Turner), and many extended family members.

Jane attended Wake Forrest University on a golf schlorship and later became a professional golfer. She taught golf at Russellville Country Club and Bay Ridge Country Club (now called the Lion's Den Golf Course) to generations of students.

She dearly loved her family, numerous friends, and former students. She is remembered for her quick wit, unwavering devotion to those she loved, and her fighting spirit.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Russellville Jr. Golf Program or the Lion's Den Jr. Golf Program.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, April 7, 2023 at the First Assembly of God Church in Dardanelle. 2565 AR 22, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834.
