Diane Crain Humphrey, 58, of Ozark, went to join Jesus on February 11, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.

Diane was born on May 29, 1962 to Lawrence and Janet Crain in Burnet, Texas. After graduating from Burnet High School in 1981, she met and fell in love with Chuck Humphrey, and they were engaged on New Years Eve 1981. After the wedding in August of 1982, they moved to Ozark, Arkansas and over the next 17 years had 7 children. In the fall of 2010, having spent 20 years as a homemaker and homeschool mother, she decided to finish her degree in education, and in 2013, she graduated from the University of Arkansas- Fort Smith. She spent the remainder of her life doing what she loved: educating children for the Mulberry-Pleasant View School District.

Diane was predeceased in death by her father Lawrence Crain, and her great grandparents. She is survived by her husband Chuck, her children Clairessa Campbell and husband James of Fort Smith, Madelyn Humphrey and fiancé Philip of Düsseldorf, Germany, Abigail Murders and husband Justin of Springdale, Lydia Humphrey and partner Brian of Fort Smith, Ethan Humphrey of Ozark, Samuel Humphrey and fiancé Jodah of Ozark, and Josiah Humphrey of Ozark, as well as 6 grandchildren: Alivia, Nathaniel, Collin, Erik, Simon, and Elias. She is also survived by her mother Janet Crain of Burnet Texas, and two brothers, Darrell Crain and wife Michelle of Burnet, TX, and David Crain and wife Randa of Sweeny, TX, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family plans to host a celebration of her life this coming summer when it is safe to do so. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle, Ar. Donations in her name are encouraged to Pawzatively Canine a non profit close to her heart.
