Janet Lynn Smith age 69 of Atkins, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at UAMS in Little Rock. She was born October 25, 1955 in Russellville, Arkansas to Homer Dean Grigsby and Mary Francis Vick Grigsby. She attended the Full Gospel Outreach, where she was a Sunday School teacher and played drums. Janet loved fishing, crafting and cooking. She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Grigsby and her husband, Jimmy Smith.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Grigsby; five children, Larry Cossey (Nouesia), Rebecca Dixon, Larry Dixon, Tess Smith, Jimmy Glen Smith; one sister, Debbie Grigsby; grandchildren, Letitia, Morgan, Sydney, Hollie, Colten, Hannah, Lorinda, Joey, Lawton and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, December 20, 2024 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with Robert Heflin officiating.
