Janetta Lee Vaughn Jay age 87 of Russellville died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Arkansas Hospice River valley Home in Russellville. She was born February 20, 1931 at Dardanelle, Arkansas to the late Earl and Velma Dodson Vaughn. She was a member of the Pottsville Assembly of God Church, she was a bank manager at River Town Bank for 20 years. She loved gardening, singing and attending church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Jay; great grandchild, Shane Ward and his mother, Amanda McKinnon; one brother, Bobby Vaughn; grandparents, Richard Arthur Dodson and Janetta Josephine Buckner.

Survivors include four children, Kenneth Jay and wife Shirley of Dardanelle, Roger Jay and wife Brenda of Alabama, Jerry Jay and wife Glenda of Atkins, Gina Terwilliger of Russellville; one sister, Sarah Holmes and husband David of Dardanelle; four sisters-in-law, Minta Winner of Russellville, Nancy Jay of Delaware, Reetha Jay of California, Peggy Vaughn of Russellville; one brother-in-law, Milbern Jay of California; fifteen grandchildren and thirty seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday, July 9, 2018 at Pottsville Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jackie Pledger and Rev. Charles Kendrick officiating. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery in Delaware. Visitation will be held Sunday, 3:00P.M. to 5:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
