Janey Sue West, age 77, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away on September 10, 2026, at Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. She was born January 2, 1949, in Crittenden County, Arkansas, to James Herman Clark and Dazzy Gist.

Janey was a retired Assembly of God minister. Her life was centered on faith and she leaves behind a family who will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John West Jr.; her son-in-law, Charles Engle; daughter-in-law Laurie West; brothers, Bobby Clark, Franklin Clark, Henry Clark, and sisters Mildred Clark and Margie Russell.

She is survived by her children, John Paul West, James Allen West (Stacy), and Jo Ann Engle; her sister, Naden White; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A chapel service will be held Monday, September 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Cornwell Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Russellville.

Janey will be remembered for her devotion to her faith, her years in ministry, and the love she shared with her family and those around her.
