Our dear mother, Janice Marie Corona, passed away on Tuesday, March 12,2024 at the age of 85 in Dardanelle, Arkansas, joining our father in heaven. She was born August 19, 1938 in Keota, Iowa to the late Robert S. Wolfe and Rita Posey Harrison. Janice and her late husband, Jimmie Charles Corona, built their home in Dickinson, Texas, and raised their 3 daughters. The family owned and operated Corona's Shrimp House in San Leon, Texas for approximately 20 years and part owner of Diamond R Ranch in Montana.

After retirement they moved to Chandler, Texas and spent their time enjoying traveling, hunting and the great outdoors. Singing, listening to music, and line-dancing were hobbies that also brought her much joy. With her husband's passing in 2004 and eventually needing more family care, she moved to Dardanelle 7 years ago where she was able to enjoy the slower pace of Arkansas living.

She is survived by her daughter's; Janie Gillis (David), Diane Parker, and Betty Baldwin (Michael). Grandchildren; Amy Cmaidalka (Brian), Chris Gillis (Kristen), Loren Brown (Justin), Mark Baldwin, Amanda Haney (Tyler), Ashly Day (Joey) and Great Grandchildren; Katie, Charlie, Jack, Kai, Kaleb, Jaden, Gavyn, Abby, Dean, and Lyla.

Janice is also survived by her siblings; David Wolfe Sr., Sandy Bivens (Jim), Wesley "Terry" Posey, LaLane Saul (Bill Rowland) and Benjamin Posey.

A private family gathering will be held as a tribute to her life in family home on Lake Palestine, Tx. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Toys For Tots, 11210 Oak Grove Rd., Dardanelle, AR 72834.
