Janice Donnell, 75, died April 13, 2017 at Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville.

She was born April 21, 1941 in Scott County to Virgil and Effie Calvert McConnell. She was preceded in death by her parents and step mother, Elsie McConnell; her husband, Jimmy Lee "Big Jim" Donnell; five brothers, Lonnie, Johnny, and Billy Joe McConnell, Bob and Cecil Sharp and two sisters, Marie Blankenship and Ruby Litsey.  She is survived by her son, David Lee Donnell of Rover; 2 brothers, Jimmy Lee McConnell (Shirley) of Carter Cove, Jerry McConnell (Beverly) of Havana; 5 sisters, Sarah White (Charles) of Ola, Shirley Judkins of Dardanelle, Chris Cunningham of Bakersfield, CA, Linda White (Fred) of Belleville, Pam Simpson (Tommy) of Russellville and many nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, April 17, 2017 at Blankenship Family Cemetery in Rover with Frankie McConnell officiating.  Visitation will be 9:30 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, April 15, at Cornwell Funeral Home in Danville.
