Joe Clyde "J.C." Barnett age 69 of Danville passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his home.

J.C. was born May 15, 1946 in Belleville to the late Joe & Edna Haney Barnett.
J.C. loved his family dearly and thought the world of his grandkids and great-grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Jamie Defoor; father-in-law, R.D. Hammond.

Survivors include his wife Gloria Barnett; his beloved dog, Princess; daughters & sons-in-law, Keri & Mark Defoor of Pottsville; Audra Gray & Mitchell Moro of Danville; Serina Anderson & Jason Peterson of Fort Smith; mother-in-law, Lupe Hammond of Danville; grandchildren, Nicholas Ward & wife Ashley of Dardanelle; Machala Defoor & Justin Shipp of Kentucky; Kelli Ward of Danville; Sarah Defoor of Pottsville; Nichole McKinney & Corey Vaughn of Belleville; Breanna Holstein & husband Cory of Danville; Jacy Moro of Belleville; Dalton Moro of Lamar; Blake Ward & wife Kasey of Havana; great-grandchildren, Spencer Ward, Kadem Ward, Justin & Jayme Shipp, Gabreil Holstein, Wyatt Vaughn, and Jacilynn "J.C." Ward, due to arrive in July; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday, March 4, 2016 at the WYC Church of Christ with Bro. John McCourt officiating. Burial will be at Havana Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, March 3, at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers include Steve Pfeifer, Bill Donnell, Johnny Chambers, Enoch Walker, Terry Owens and Mitch Tate.

Honorary pallbearer include Albert Horn, Duck Donnell, Dub Ward, and Bill Lipe.
