Jean Cox Jean Morgan Cox age 89 of Dardanelle died Monday, April 29, 2013 at Russellville Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born January 24, 1924 in Bentonville, Arkansas to the late John and Demetra DeShong Morgan. She was a member of the Dardanelle First United Methodist Church, the Womens Missionary Society and a life member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Boyce Woods Post 3141 in Dardanelle. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.B. Cox; two sons, Bentley Cox and Louis Morgan Cox; one grandson, Louis Morgan Cox Jr; one sister, Bettie Smith. Survivors include one son, Tommy Cox and wife Dinah of Dumas, AR; two daughters-in-law, Debbie Cox of Dallas, Texas, Liz Cox of Rogers, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Howell Cox, Molly Pilkington, Meredith Finney, Ben Cox, Celeste Cox and six great grandchildren. Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, May 10, 2013 at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle with Bro. Jim Benfer officiating.
