Jeffrey Lee "Bubba" Gates age 52 of Belleville passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Russellville.

Jeff was born September 21, 1964 in Morrilton, AR to the late James Roy & Anna Louise Winsett Gates. He was a member of the Ascension Life Christian Fellowship Church. He enjoyed playing base guitar and loved to sing, and spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Robert L. Winsett, and John & Clara Gates.

Survivors include his children, Sarah Gates of Belleville; Jeffrey Lucas Gates is in the United States Navy stationed in Texas; Jordan & Jimi Davis of Paris; Luke Anthony Rogers of Atkins; grandchildren, Kadynce, Justin Ty, and Jadabell Hammersley, Jaxon Lee Davis; brothers, Clayton Gates of Belleville; Travis Gates of Oklahoma; grandmother, Reba Winsett of Belleville; brother from another mother, Troy Templeman and his wife Ginger of Danville and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be 2 pm Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Ascension Life Christian Fellowship Church with Lynn Garner officiating. Burial will be at Havana Cemetery.
