Ray Apple Reverend Jennings Ray Apple age 89 of Russellville passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Brook Ridge Cove Rehabilitation and Care Center in Morrilton. He was born February 18, 1925 at Havana, AR to the late Ozzo and Mamie Estelle Jennings Apple. He was a WWII Army Veteran and he served as a minister with the Arkansas Assembly of God for over fifty years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kent Apple, Wayne Apple and one sister, Margaret Bull. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Verna Wilkes Apple of Russellville; two brothers, Clyde Apple of Danville, AR, Gordon Apple of Little Rock, AR and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Havana First Assembly of God Church with Larry Moore, Ronnie Morris, William Hickman and Mike Norberg officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Havana cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jody Apple, Larry Wilkes, William Hickman, Bud Avants, Tom Manskar, John Ellis and Paul Bull. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cylde Apple, Jerry Radley and Gordon Apple.
