Jeremy Waynne Davis, age 40, of Atkins passed away Monday, June 3, 2019.  He was born on June 16, 1978, in Russellville, to Jimmie Davis and the late Shirley Walters Davis Riley.  He was a member of the Chickamauga Cherokee Tribe and a masonry worker.  Jeremy loved to fish and build miniature log cabins that he would give away to family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Walters Riley; and his grandparents, Mona Bowden Walters, Gilbert Walters, Wilburn Davis and Ardeth Shatswell Davis McMinn.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Davis; father, Jim Davis (Diane); two sons, Cody Davis and Austin Davis; two stepsons, Jasin Bryant and Drayton Bryant; three brothers, Chris Hughes (Mistie), James Davis and Charles Davis; four sisters, Patty Hughes Taylor, Laura Easter (Michael), Stephanie Murphree, and Amanda Cowart; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 10, at 2pm at Evans Mountain Church in Atkins.
