Jeremy Earl Smith age 39 of Rover passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 26, 1978 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to William Earl & Murrial Dean Holland Smith. He was a 1996 Plainview Graduate. He was a student at Arkansas Tech. He enjoyed going to auctions, swap meets and junking. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his son Max. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl & Ann Smith; Junior & Thelma Holland; uncles, Tony Maxwell Smith and Jerry Don Holland.

Survivors include his wife Jeanette Smith; parents, William & Carolyn Smith of Rover and Murrial Smith of Kingston; son, Maxwell Julius Earl Smith; step-son Dalton Barentine of Glenwood; step-sisters, Lela Rogers of Ola and Lesa Ruiz of Rover; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews,

Funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday, June 7, 2016 at Ola Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. John David Keeling officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Matthew Robison, Jason Robison, Jordon Case, Jeff Gilkey, Brian Sherrod, Jr.; Dalton Barentine, Shane King, Chris Bailey and Bill Millard.

Honorary pallbearers include brothers of Alpha Gamma Rho.
