Jerry Wayne Adams, a loving husband and father known to his family as "Papa" and his friends as "Big", age 63 of Delaware, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at Baptist Medical Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born November 26, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Garland and Mildred Marshall Adams. Jerry was a faithful member of Lake Hills Church in Russellville. As an avid automotive enthusiast, he loved motorcycles and hot rods as well as having a great passion for music and his gun collection. He retired after 19 years of dedicated service at Duffield Gravel Company as a skilled truck driver and heavy equipment operator. Jerry will be remembered for his many nicknames given, dad jokes, and stories.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Joyce Bradke; two brothers, Geroy Martin and James Auther Ebersoll.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Kimberly Summit Adams; nine children, Tawny Smith (Azzin), Jason Adams (Angie), Jared Adams (Dianna), Miranda Adams, Diyana Morris (Bryson), Jonathan Burris (Danile), Todd Herbert, Samantha Bollan (Derek), and Bobby Chada; two sisters, Linda Alderman and Olka Krisell; eleven grandchildren, Jacob Adams, Jackson Adams, Kayson Morris, Henson Morris, Taylor Leavy, Selena Flores, Jayden Flores, Braden Chada, Conner Chada, Abby Bollan, and Asher Bollan; three great-grandchildren, Blaikley, Chaseton and Kolbie.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Lake Hills Church in Russellville. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Lake Hills Church in Russellville with Pastor Josh Reynolds and Bishop Tony Reynolds officiating. Graveside and burial will be at 2:30 P.M. at Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Adams, Kevin Hampton, Kyle Curlis, Ehren Bocksnick, Shane Holland, and Greg Howard
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackson Adams, Travis Underwood, Timmy Brown, and Adam Hampton
