Jerry M. Dawson Sr. age 74 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born November 11, 1944 at Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late John Walter Dawson and Pauline Ladd Dawson. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ola. He retired from Mobley Construction and was the previous owner of Dawson Trucking and Excavation. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping with friends and restoring old cars which he had finished numerous ones. Jerry loved traveling with the love of his life and spending every possible minute with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy Ann Dawson and one son, Steven Dawson.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Dawson Jr. (Kristie) of Dardanelle; one brother, Mark Dawson (Carla); one sister, Helen Garner (Bob); four grandchildren, Allen, Summer (Adam), Jared, Bailey Jo (Jake); one niece, Laura (Clint); great nephew, William and great nieces Callie, Mattie and Lillie.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, April 29, 2019 at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ola with Bro. Joe Harrison and Bro. Ken Blundel officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.
