Jerry Don Morgan age 66 of Danville passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Arkansas Hospice in Russellville. He was born January 6, 1947 in Blue Ball, Arkansas to the late Grover Clinton & Veoria Wilkins Morgan. He was owner and operator of Jerry's Station and Morgan's Trash Service. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law Tobe Woodard. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Linda Morgan; sons Chuck & Sheila Morgan of Danville; Jeff Morgan of Russellville; sister Carolyn Woodard of Danville; granddaughters, Corey & Dustin Short of Conway; Lakyn Morgan of Russellville; Macey Morgan of Russellville; grandsons Dylan Morgan & Blake Morgan of Havana; nephews Mike & Bubba Woodard of Danville; Marty Woodard of Danville; Morgan Woodard of Waco, Texas; special cousin Randell Havner of Danville; mother of his granddaughters and business manager Donna Avery of Russellville; brother-in-law & wife, W.K. & Mary Davis of Fairfax, OK. Pallbearers include James Mitchell, Larry Mitchell, Carlos Ward, Dale Knight, Ronnie Williams, Lonnie Apple, Tommy May, Philip Alexander, Bim York, Mike Woodard, Steve Miller, Bob Burnham, J.C. Barnett and Duck Donnell. Honorary pallbearers include Larry Elmore, Jack Wilson and Ed Taylor. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Danville First Baptist Church with Rev. Devo Campbell, and Rev. Leroy Munsey officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8, at the Danville First Baptist Church.
