Jerry Dale Morris, 60 of Mabelvale, a native of Yell County, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born November 15, 1952 in Danville. He was a stocker for Wal-Mart in Benton. He was preceded in death by his father, James Elbert Morris and a brother, Robert Morris. Survivors include his children, Sherry Morris Hayes of Clarksville, Tennessee, Brian Morris of Little Rock, Elizabeth Morris of Little Rock; a grandson, Jordan Hayes of Tennessee; mother, Rosa Reynolds of Belleville; brothers, Russell Morris, John Hastings, and James Hastings all of Belleville; four nephews, Matthew Morris of Russellville, Justin Hastings, Jake Hastings, Joey Hastings all of Belleville; two nieces, Tina Morris Beggs of Belleville and Crystal Morris Adams of Lurton; two great-nephews, Austin and Ian Beggs of Belleville; and several aunts and uncles. The family will receive visitors at Cornwell Funeral Home in Danville on Tuesday, July 23 from 5 until 7 p.m. Memorial service will be Wednesday, July 24, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery with Bo Dickey officiating.
