Jerry Ann Nelms age 73 of Belleville passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle. She was born March 7, 1940 in Ballinger, Texas to the Charlie & Mary Bushong Davis. She was a Home Health Aid and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon "Dow" Nelms; father Charlie Davis; mother Mary Kurc; and step-grandson Brian Keith Hardy. Survivors include daughters, Debra & Jacob Mark of Texas; Tammy & Tom Kunkel of Texas; step-son & daughter-in-law Walter Leon & Jill Nelms of Gladewater, TX; step-daughters & sons-in-law, Barbara Ann & Keith Hardy of Gladewater, TX ; Sandra Lee Nelms of Linden, TX; grandchildren,Tom Kunkel Jr; Melissa Kunkel, Michael Wayne Hammett, Ronald Dow Hammett, Brandon Lee Hammett, Benjamin Kyle Hardy, and Bradlee Kent Hardy; 8 great-grandchildren; step-father, Ray Kurc of Gladewater, TX; father of her daughters Homer Bryant of Kermit, TX: sisters, Mary Fesler, Penny Nelson, Neva Stickels all of Texas; several nieces & nephews.
