Jerry Pitts is a Vietnam Veteran and a role model to many, he loved spending time with his wife and children. He loved everyone as his own, especially his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. He loved spending time with grandkids and great grandkids. Jerry enjoyed cheeseball fights with the grandkids, driving the back roads, fishing, boating, parks, hiking, gardening and anything outdoors. In the kitchen he was famous for making chocolate gravy, pancakes, cookies and fudge. When he was out and about he loved going to Sonic for chili cheese dogs and a milkshake. He always had a smile on his face, he was a big joker, but was also the most honest person you have ever met. His pets were like his children, Reba May and Dusty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lora and Lillian Pitts; two brothers, Bobby Pitts, Jim Pitts and a great granddaughter, Stacy Lynn.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Pitts; his children, Jerri Lee Chapman, Lora Ringele (David), Crystal Lino (Poly), Tommy Lee Pitts (Christiae), David Pitts (Cassandra), Dillinger Pitts, Airie Pitts; support dogs, Reba May, Dusty; fourteen grandkids; eight great grandkids and brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Judy Pitts.

Visitation will be held Monday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle. Graveside service will be held at 2:00P.M., Tuesday at Harkey Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Hall, Jordan Hall, Josh Wilkins, Carlito Marcelino-Pitts, Gavon Milligan and Gary Blankenship.

Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Mullen, Poly Lino, David Ringele, Ray Milligan and Camron Blankenship.
