Jerry Dean Whitworth age 67 of Aly passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Mitchell Nursing Home in Danville. She was born June 5, 1944 at Aly. The daughter of Otto Potter and Violet Verl Wilkens Potter. She was a member of the Prarrie Grove Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Otto Potter; her husband, James Melvin Whitworth and son, Allen "Bo" Whitworth. She is survived by her son James Dean Whitworth of Aly; mother, Violet Verl Potter of Aly; sisters, Doris Clemmons and Vinita "Claty" Spears of Dardanelle; Jearldean Tarkinton of Aly and Nadean Jones of Mt Ida; brothers Carney Potter and James Potter of Aly; grandsons A. J. Whitworth, Brandon Murphy, Josh Whitworth, Cory Whitworth and Gage Whitworth; great-grandsons, Elijah Whitworth, Matthew Whitworth & Gabriel Whitworth; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Killian Cemetery with Rev. Josh Harper and Bro. Ed Depriest officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. before service at cemetery.
