Jess Kershner Jessica (Jess) Leann Kershner age 15 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2015. She was born May 8, 1999. Jessica was a Freshman at Dardanelle High School and a member of the JROTC Program. She enjoyed participating in services at the Restoration Church in Russellville. Jess was a vibrant young lady with a beautiful spirit. She enjoyed singing in the school choir and could often be heard singing some of the favorite songs as she went about her daily activities at home. She also enjoyed fishing, photography and spending time with her friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Kershner; great grandfather, John Hall and grandfather, Michael Kershner. Survivors include her mother, Leisa Kershner Howard and Step father Chad Howard of Dardanelle; sisters, Rachel Kershner and Kiere Ewing of Dardanelle; one brother, Emerson Howard of Damascus; grandparents, Charles and Bobbie Noblett, Patti Kershner all of Dardanelle, Ann Lavelock of Kingsland; great grandparents and several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and was loved by many. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Restoration Church in Russellville with Rev. Russell Drake officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the Dardanelle ROTC. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Howard and Kenneth Noblett. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.
