Jessie Mae Reece age 96 of Danville passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born August 23, 1924 in Birta, Arkansas to the late Elisha and Tressie Sheets. "Granny, Dink, Jessie Mae" was known for her "granny" pats, making the foliage and pebbles on the ground into breath taking art and THE BEST fried pies. Granny didn't know a stranger and was kind and loving to everyone she came across. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, O'Neil Reece; one sister, Ruby Bagwell; four brothers, Carl Sheets, Robert Sheets, Lloyd Sheets, Hazel Sheets; a grandson, Dustin Jones; sister-in-law, Belinda Kay Reece and a son-in-law, Teddy Gooch.

Survivors include her four children, Lowell Reece, Shirley Reece Gooch, Bud Reece, Clifton Reece and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 1:00P.M., Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Mt. George Church of Christ. Graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday at Dacus Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chad Carter, Jonathan Baskin, Trent Baskin, Brandon Carter, Mikey Edison and Andy Ward.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Residents and staff of the Dardanelle Nursing Center, Ed Reece, Steve Reece, Donny Reece and David Reece.
