Jettie McNew

Jettie Marie McNew age 87 of Dardanelle died Sunday, December 27, 2015 at her home. She was born June 4, 1928 at Vincent, Texas to the late James Henry and Addie Myrtle Self Norton. She was original member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Dardanelle. Besides loving her church, her family was the most important thing in her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Oliver McNew; daughter, Sheryl Diane Pfeifer; granddaughter, Laura Jo Pfeifer Deal; five brothers; two sisters and a son-in-law, Charlie Barton.

Survivors include two daughters, Jolynn Carter and son-in-law, Lelon of Dardanelle, Nesie Barton of Dardanelle; brother, Ted and sister-in-law Opal Norton of Dardanelle; son-in-law, Larry Pfeifer of Dardanelle; grandchildren, Chad Carter, Brandon Carter, Mackenzie Carter, Lisa Leann Fleming; great grandchildren, Logan Carter, Lauren Carter, Landon Carter, Pfeifer Fleming, Madison Deal, Brandi Dorris, Brooke Williams, Mackenleigh Carter; great great grandchildren, Jaxon Dorris, Mayson Dorris.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle with Ethan Robinson and Brandon Carter officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chad Carter, Brandon Carter, Mackenzie Carter, Logan Carter, Landon Carter, Dan Green and Jason Fleming.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Calvary Baptist Youth Group, P.O. Box 532, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834.
